Why Yet?

Mental health issues are among the leading causes of absenteeism, reduced productivity, and employee turnover. But support often comes too late. The barrier to seeking help is high, the system is fragmented, and assistance usually arrives only when things have already gone wrong. This can trigger a snowball effect — where small issues grow larger and harder to resolve.

The need is clear:
Employees want immediate, accessible support — right when they need it. Organizations that offer this don't just improve wellbeing — they also boost performance, engagement and retention.

Acting now pays off:
Investing in mental health is no longer a nice-to-have — it’s a core part of responsible leadership. Every euro/dollar invested delivers 4 to 5 times the return: in fewer sick days, better productivity, stronger collaboration, and greater talent retention.

Key facts

  • Mental health-related leave: 63 days on average
  • 1 in 5 feels mentally exhausted by work
  • 58% have considered quitting due to mental strain
  • Presenteeism costs 1.5× more than absenteeism
  • Only 16% feel truly engaged at work
  • 4 in 10 call in sick for mental health reasons
  • 62% don’t feel supported by HR or managers
  • 95% feel better after getting support through work

How Yet supports your team

Everything you need to offer immediate, professional mental health support

Immediate access to support

Yet gives your people direct access to experienced professionals — from psychologists to coaches and counselors — all brought together on one accessible platform. Employees book their own sessions, completely anonymously and without any HR involvement. They can be speaking with someone within 48 hours, including evenings and weekends.

The power of one session

Yet uses the Single Session Therapy (SST) method: one focused hour-long conversation that helps people move forward on their own. No generic advice, no drawn-out program — just a personal session that addresses what matters most right now. For over 80% of employees, one conversation is enough to get back on track.

Quality you can trust

Yet isn’t a marketplace— it’s a carefully curated network of professionals. Every one of them works with the SST method. So you can be confident in the quality of support, whether someone connects with a psychologist, a specialized coach, or a life counselor.

Less work for HR and managers

Yet takes practical work off your plate. HR doesn’t need to assess who should go where, there are no referrals to manage, and no internal coordination required. Employees handle everything themselves. Yet operates independently alongside existing support systems — so HR and managers can focus on what matters most.

Private and secure

As an organization, you’ll receive anonymized insights into usage and common themes — never the content of individual sessions. Conversations are strictly confidential, and the platform is fully compliant with GDPR regulations.

Making Yet work for you

Prevention and early intervention only work when people know Yet exists — right at the moment they need it. That’s why Yet provides a comprehensive activation package with ready-to-use materials. And we’re happy to work with you on tailored solutions that fit your organization and culture.

When does Yet make a difference? Think of:

  • Signs of imbalance: poor sleep, restlessness, irritability
  • Significant life events: new role, restructuring, divorce
  • Unhelpful patterns: difficulty setting boundaries, sensitivity to feedback
  • Recovery or transition: returning from sick leave, post-treatment support, or boosting progress during wait times
  • Increased pressure: caregiving responsibilities, peak workloads, understaffing

What our clients say about us

"For anyone who values their employees’ personal (and psychological) development, I can really recommend Single Session Coaching! Serious value for money!"

Jeanette Ploeger – CEO Minddistrict

"We are now less likely to choose a coaching programme. Finding the right coach, someone you have a click with, can take quite a while. And people have busy schedules. That often makes planning difficult. Yet works faster and is consequently also a cheaper solution."

Jelke Notten - Lead of Talent Development

"Employees really are helped to move forward, so Yet can replace some of the longer processes. The digital aspect and the duration of only one hour are perceived as convenient. We receive very positive reactions from both employees struggling with work pressure or tension, for example, and employees wanting to view their career or ambitions from a different perspective."

Yves van den Berg - HR Manager Dura Vermeer

"It works so well that we need fewer sessions than we thought. For me, it's not even so much about preventing absenteeism. People sometimes encounter complex problems and situations in their lives. You want to be able to offer them help quickly. Getting the right help can take a very long time if they have to visit their GP first. Yet can help very quickly. It's nice to be able to offer your employees something good."

Willem Zwart - Rector Lorentz - Rivers
